Hanstreet 3 v 1 Pembury
All in all a very dissapointing performance all round in a game we could and shoudl have won with the oppostion only having 11 men this sprurred them on and we (very wrongly) felt we were better than them. We (again very wrongly) thought looking at them during the warm up this would be easy and became cocky and people stopped listening while i was talking showing me a lack of respect and their team mates, we are not good enough which is a simple fact and the whole time we kid ourselves we will continue to lose. After last weeks performance i was confident of securing a win this week but we fell back into old habits.
At times we looked good and moved the ball well, creating chances but again we failed to take them they took the lead through a scrappy goal and then soon after went 2-0 up with a good strike from the edge of the box. We got one back with a well worked goal when Chris mearing finished well with a lob.
Half time again people were more interested in laughing and joking than listening to others we all seem to think we know best and that were better than we are - were not we are BOTTOM OF THE LEAGUE.
Les and Martin came off for Luke Smith and Darius but the second half was appaling and we conceeded again with a terrrible defensive display.
It finished 3-1 and we thoroughly deserved o lose and wasnt good enough from anyone.
