In a game that we totally dominate from start to finish I am still shocked / disappointed that we only managed to score one goal. Having said that it was a good team performance with the back four looking solid, the wide midfielders beating players and delivering some good crosses and the front two creating chances.
We created a lot of chances (sorry if this sounds familiar) but were again unable to find the back of the net. We completely dominated play and they only really looked like getting into the game when we over played in the wrong areas of the pitch and got caught in possession.
Having missed a couple of chances (again) myself and had a good headed saved, I rose majestically from one yard and headed the only goal of the game after a good cross from the left.
If we had gone on to get two then I think it would have finished five or six but as it was, with only a one goal lead they were always in with a shout (but only a faint one).
