Saturday 23rd Dec, a notable date for us as we recorded our first clean sheet of the season.
All credit to the team, especially the back 5, which consisted of Ashley in goal, who made some outstanding saves to keep us in the game in the first half, Rob James and Ollie Allman filled the full back roles, and they grew in confidence as the game progressed. Browny and Sargy both had excellent games in the centre, snuffing out most of what they had to offer.
Beyond these guys, the midfield worked tirelessly throughout, with both Dan Hesmer and Aus Tasker, finding the net. Up front Alun and Ellsy partnership seems to be progressing as they linked well, and worked hard to defend from the front. Alun profited from this with 2 more goals.
Well done, a great performance to finish 2006 on.
