Pembury's good start to the season came to a abrupt halt at bottom of the table Ashford.
Once again we started poorly, but in previous weeks our performance got better as the game progressed. This week it did not, and we arrived at half time at 0-0.
We spoke at half time that they were, happy to get a 0-0 out of the game, and if they did go 1-0 up, it would be very difficult to get back into the game, as they would have something to hold on to.
This is exactly what happened, when a defensive mix up lead to them taking the lead.
We huffed and puffed for the remainder of the game, but to no avail. We did however create enough good chances to win 2 games.
On the whole it was a day to put behind us, and hopefully, take the lessons learnt into next week.
