Dean Jack-one-off, would like to thank the well wisher, for their comments about Dipsy the goal keeper, but he very much doubts whether we will ever see him between the sticks for Pembury FC again, after negotiations broke down late on Saturday night.
Dipsy said, "he did not feel that his continental style of goal keeping was suited to this level of football, and also that he did not feel comfortable in the kit."
He was also a bit disturbed by the type of spectators we attract at Woodside. He said "there was a Hobbit, a Polar Bear with a Mobile Phone, a leprechaun and a lady who stood with the hobbit who kept staring and laughing at him."
I personally feel that we, as a club have missed the boat on this one, as the pictures below of him in action show.
